Holy Days and Observances
The Baha’i Faith observe 11 holy day throughout the year. Nine of which we are requested to abstain from work. These days are as follows and begins in March with our New Year celebration. Dates are provided according to the Badi’ Calendar authorized by Bahá'u'lláh and also the Gegorian Calendar.
The Baha’i Holy Days and Observances are open to the public. These are at different places around the community. Please call for actual date, time, and place for each.
Note: When an observance is held during the Daylight Saving Time period the actual observance time is one hour later than indicated for Standard Time.

World Religion Day - January 20, 2019
Ayyam-i-ha - Days of Celebration at end of Baha’i Calendar Year
- evening February 25th through evening March 1st
Naw-Ruz (New Year) - Evening of March 20th
Devotions include readings of scripture from the Baha’i Faith and many other religious traditions w/music and fellowship. These are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays each month unless other activities would require moving the dates.
