Prophet Herald of Bahá’u’lláh

‍• Born in 1819 in Persia

‍• Declared His mission in 1844

‍• Had 18 disciples titled “Letters of the Living”

‍• Suffered a large portion of His ministry in prisons

‍• Imprisonment instigated by the Islamic clergy

‍• Wrote His own book of Scripture called the Bayán

‍• Foretold “Him Whom God shall make manifest,” Bahá’u’lláh

‍• Martyred in 1850 by a firing squad for His teachings

‍• Had many tens of thousands of
followers
